Caroline Houck is Vox's Senior Editor of News, where she oversees Vox's daily morning newsletter and helps direct general assignment coverage. She previously ran Vox's international coverage and before that served as Vox’s deputy Washington editor and weekend editor. During her time at Vox, she has led coverage of the Israel-Hamas war, the war in Ukraine and the overturn of Roe v. Wade; edited stories about the 2020 election, Donald Trump’s impeachments, and more; and occasionally written on global affairs.
